Port Deposit

The final Maryland race for 2008 was this past weekend in Port Deposit. Saturday was very humid, hazy and foggy early. Sunday was almost perfect. Best quote from the the weekend: " Five more MPH and Amy's getting wet!"

Grand Prix Boats

Last weekend in Cambridge was the first time I witnessed the Grand Prix class of hydroplanes. What a sight! Check out the size of the roostertails--I'm hoping they make a return trip next year.

Hydroplane Races

Finally, the weekend is here. I'm totally geeked and ready to start the 2nd straight weekend of hydroplane racing in Maryland. I'm wondering about the boat count for tomorrow. I was completely surprised last weekend with the large number of boats.
